Gender Spectrum Family – Addresses the needs of families raising kids who do not conform to society’s traditional gender expectations. Same time/location as Gender Odyssey.
Southern Comfort (Atlanta) – Annual transgender conference
Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference – Addresses trans/gender variant/intersex health issues. Workshops for both health care providers and community members.
Transcending Boundaries (NE U.S.) – TBC focuses on the bisexual, intersex, polyamorous and transgender communities, and welcomes all those whose sex, gender and/or sexuality don’t fit society’s usual either/or categories.
Transgender 2009 — The Liberty Conference (Philadelphia) – Primarily trans-femme focused. Three days of workshops.
Camp Outs
Northeast Regional FTM Campout – Campout in the woods. Open to anyone who self-identifies as FTM, regardless of where you are with regard to physical transition.
CampOUT (West Virginia) – Campout in the woods. Affiliated with transmasculine and leather communities.
Camp Trans – An annual protest of the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival’s women-born-women only policy that excludes transwomen.
Camp Aranu’tiq (New Hampshire) – Weeklong summer camp for gender variant youth ages 8 to 15.
TransOhio – TransOhio holds an annual conference in Columbus, Ohio for trans people and allies.
